  1. What is the price?

First of all, each cake is different in detail, design, number of tiers and flavours.  Therefore, there is no fix price for a bespoke cake, price will be varied according to these elements:

  • Complexity of the design
  • Details of the cake
  • Number of tiers and portions
  • Flavour 
  • Buttercream finished or Fondant finished cake
  • Fresh flowers or handcrafted flowers

 

  1. Do you deliver?

We are happy to deliver your cake. Please provide your delivery address, this will help us to calculate delivery fee accordingly.

 

  1. Do you offer tasting?

Yes, we do offer consultations which include cake tasting.   There will be a £40 fee.

 

  1. How can I buy a box of cakes to taste?

We normally send out a cake box for you to taste.  Please see our cake  tasting page for more details.

 

  1. How do I make a booking?

Wedding Cake

Once you are satisfied with our quotation, you can secure your chosen date with a non-refundable deposit of £200 payable within 7 days of the date of our written quotation.

 

Celebration Cake

You can secure your date with 50% deposit and remaining balance will be paid a week before event date.

Please note that deposit is non-refundable

 

  1. When should I make a booking?

The earlier the better to secure your date and to avoid the disappointment. This is particularly true for the busy summer season. Ideally, a 6-9 months in advance. 

 

  1. Can I change the design after the work has started?

If it is a minor change which will not impact on the work that has already started, it should not be a problem. However, if it does, these will be an additional charge.

  1. Do you provide a cake stand?

A cake stand may be provided for a hire charge of £10 plus a deposit based on the cost of that cake stand. The deposit will be refunded when the stand is returned to us in the same condition.

  1. Can I pick up my cake?

Yes, collection can be arranged at an agreed date and time. However, we cannot beheld responsible for any damage to your cake once it has left our premises. For the cake that we deliver and set up at the venue, we will not hold any responsible to the cake after we left as simply we cannot control what happen after.

  1. Can you accommodate dietary requirement?

We will endeavour to accommodate individual dietary requirements. However, all cakes are made in an environment where gluten, eggs, dairy products and nuts are present.

  1. Can my florist decorate the cake?

Considerations of hygiene and safety dictate that we are the only people who can decorate your cake. But we are happy to use flowers by your own florist, provided we receive them in good time  before the event.
